A digital credential is a matchday ticket, season ticket or access entitlement stored on a smartphone or smartwatch. It can be delivered through a native mobile wallet or a branded club or venue app and validated at the stadium or arena entrance.

Do fans need to download an app?

Not when tickets are delivered through Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet. Fans can add the ticket to the wallet already available on their device. A branded club or venue app is an additional option for operators that want extended ticket-management functions.

Which mobile wallets are supported?

SKIDATA NFC eTicketing supports Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet. Support depends on the device, operating system and selected ticketing setup.
