Damüls/Grödig. The 3-Täler Ski Pool Vorarlberg will continue to purchase its access control systems from Skidata. The company from Grödig, near Salzburg, a world leader in the ticketing area, has been awarded the contract. The Vorarlberg Cable Car Association with 38 ski areas and 172 lifts has been a Skidata customer for decades. "The recent decision for Skidata has two main reasons: Firstly, Skidata offers a multi-stage upgrading system that is customized to the ski area and technically flexible. Secondly, we continue to be very satisfied since the beginning of the collaboration," says Managing Director of Damülser Cable Cars and 3-Täler Ski Pool spokesman Markus Simma.
The value of the contract cannot be quantified at present. The ski pool continually invests in its access control equipment. Skidata CEO Hugo Rohner refers to the connection with the Vorarlberg 3-Täler Ski Pool as a model partnership. "They have been a customer from the very beginning. Since then, we have worked hand in hand to find the best ticketing solution for the cable car association, and we want to do everything possible so that it stays as such for as long as possible!"
The 3-Täler ski pool is among the leading and, above all, most popular ski areas in the country. The 172 lifts connect the Bregenz Forest, the Great Walser Valley, and the Lechner and Brandner Valleys.
