System Engineer – 2nd Level Support (Sports & Entertainment – Focus: Mountain Business)

We are looking for a solution-oriented 2nd Level System Engineer for Access Management in the field of Sports & Entertainment – with focus on Ski Resorts. This is an opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make a global impact by supporting the reliable operation of access systems including our latest technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical Support: Provide expert support for development teams, subsidiaries, and partners worldwide, ensuring seamless access management solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve technical challenges to ensure the continuous and smooth operation of customer installations.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge by conducting technical training sessions (online and face-to-face) and maintaining our knowledge database.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with our 27 subsidiaries, joint ventures, and partners, helping uphold internal standards and processes (e.g., problem-solving, operational level agreements, on-call duties).
  • System Optimization: Leverage your technical expertise to support both standard and customer-specific solutions, mainly through remote support.

Your profile

  • A completed technical education, such as an apprenticeship, HTL, or FH, providing a solid foundation in system engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Linux, SQL Server databases, and networking.
  • Experience in working with cloud services
  • Interest and experience with hardware components (e.g., boards, firmware).
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
  • You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and have a deep understanding of system architecture.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about sharing knowledge and learning from others.
  • You are willing to travel up to 10% of the time to support projects and client needs.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of system engineering.
  • Proficiency in English and German

Your Place of work

Groedig/Salzburg (HQ)

We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is € 2,471.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
