Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

You are part of an agile interface team that develops for our SKIDATA access solutions worldwide in Salzburg as well as in Klagenfurt. You will cooperate with colleagues from different areas and nations. You work in a JAVA environment and define and implement APIs that are used on highly available and scalable systems worldwide. Your tasks include design, implementation, automated end-to-end quality assurance and operational monitoring of your solutions. In your role, you will actively drive development and help shape a forward-looking solution.

Your profile

  • a well-founded computer science education and/or corresponding professional experience
  • experience in the field of software development (especially with Java, JEE, PostgreSQL and/or Spring in the backend; HTML5, CSS3, Node, Angular and TypeScript (or similar) in the frontend) is an advantage
  • knowhow in distributed systems and cloud computing
  • knowhow in various software designs and architectural patterns
  • experience with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban), or at least interest in
  • experience with state-of-the-art software development tools (JIRA, Nexus, Gitlab)
  • a good command of written and spoken English
  • good communication skills and enjoy working in a team

Your Place of work

Klagenfurt
We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is 2.208,00 Euro gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
