Supply Chain Specialist - Import/Export / Customs / Dangerous Goods - m/w/d

Your tasks

Thanks to your expertise, you are the first point of contact within SKIDATA and bear responsibility for all dangerous goods and customs issues. As part of the team, you are the interface to export/import-related authorities, customers and suppliers and thus ensure efficient, cost-effective and legally compliant implementation (including processing of the relevant documents). You also enjoy sharing your expertise across the company and within the team and contribute to the knowledge transfer of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs and duties, licences and restrictions through documentation and exchange. You will also make a valuable contribution by planning and implementing import & export strategies, activities and processes in line with overall company objectives and financial implications. 

Your profile

  • A completed training as a forwarding agent or a commercial training in an international environment
  • Several years of sound experience in the field of customs (export/import) and dangerous goods as well as knowledge of the legal requirements of the respective areas
  • Training in the field of import and export (e.g. course in export management, export control, customs course, course in export/foreign trade, ...)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and Microsoft Office programmes
  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working
  • Team spirit and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • A high level of service orientation and the ability to work under pressure
  • Communication skills & solution orientation
  • Flexibility & hands-on mentality
  • Very good written and spoken German & English skills

We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is € 2.208,00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
