The Austrian business magazine, Trend, creates an annual ranking of Austrian employers and SKIDATA has raised in the rankings yet again!
The good opinion of Trend magazine can't be bought. They compile employee statements to create their ranking and SKIDATA has ranked amongst the top 200 best employers in Austria! "We are very proud, that we have been included in this list as one of Austria's best employers and that our ranking has even improved!" says Belkis Etz, Vice President of Human Resources at SKIDATA. "Being a good employer is about more than lip service. It's our conviction that a strong and motivated team is how we deliver the best results to our customers. We're constantly striving to be the best employer to our 1,600 employees around the world." By the end of 2018, SKIDATA totaled 27 country organizations and five joint ventures, with an additional 50 distribution partners. "Not only are we offering our employees an attractive workplace here in Austria with exciting carrier prospects, but also the opportunity to work internationally."
The willingness of employees to recommend their employer is the most significant factor in Trend's evaluation, which is why the status is valuable as an authentic measure of which we can indeed be proud. We see this as recognition of the ever-expanding services we offer to our employees, which starts with our comprehensive training programs, for everyone from apprentices to service technicians, and software developers. We are committed to creating a work environment that is not only engaging, but that also meshes well with other important things in our lives beyond the office. This balance is made possible by our flexible working time models and mobile work opportunities. We also make sure we maintain a healthy working environment through our balanced and very comprehensive wellness program. We're thrilled to support employee sports activities-even beyond our company sporting events. Overall, the experience of our company culture is shaped by our familiar and collegial atmosphere. Belkis Etz is pleased to say, "It's wonderful that our efforts are recognized by our employees, and now reaffirmed by this ranking."
Trend's initiative compiles the annual ranking of Austria's best employers in partnership with the Hamburg-based statistics company Statista and the career networks Kununu and Xing. From the various channels, more than 200,000 evaluations were compiled, including 87,000 ratings from last year to ensure that the companies track record is taken into account. This year experts took into consideration companies from one of 20 predefined industries, having more than 1,000 employees with at least 200 employees working in Austria. Anonymous online employee surveys are the basis of the analysis, as well as Trend magazine readers and members of the Kununu and Xing platforms. Trend ratings published on Kununu are also included in the analysis. All of which ensures objectivity, as companies cannot directly influence any of the factors Trend takes into consideration.
