Senior Software Engineer


You are part of an agile software development team and will cooperate worldwide with colleagues from other development teams, product management, hosting center, and technical support. You are responsible for the core components of SKIDATA’s hosted access solutions and are developing reliable and modern base technologies in backend and frontend. Thereby, you are empowered to actively shape the future of our SKIDATA products. Satisfied developers of other teams and users of our systems are the credo of your work.


  • a well-founded computer science education and/or corresponding professional experience
  • at least 3 years of experience in the field of software development (especially with Java, JEE and/or Spring in the backend; HTML5, CSS3, Node, Angular and TypeScript (or similar) in the frontend)
  • fundamental knowhow in relational DBMS (in particular PostgreSQL)
  • knowhow in distributed systems and cloud computing
  • knowhow in various software designs and architectural patterns
  • experience with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban), or at least interest in
  • experience with state-of-the-art software development tools (JIRA, Nexus, Subversion, Gitlab)
  • a good command of written and spoken English
  • good communication skills and enjoy working in a team

We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is 2.063,00 Euro gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
