Accountant – Accounts Receivable


In the team of the accounting department you will ensure the financial, administrative as well as efficient and timely control of accounts receivable accounting. You will be responsible for banking, collection letters, credit checks and regular customer contact. You will calculate provisions and advance payment collection and issue bank guarantees. In addition, you will support ongoing process optimization projects both at headquarters and throughout the Group. You ensure correct and timely reporting to external authorities and ensure the smooth running of accounts receivable.


  • Having completed an education with an accounting focus, you have several years’ experience with accounts receivable accounting. As an ideal candidate you have also worked in an international environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience of customer collections, account reconciliation, bank bookings & cash allocation (Book bank statements, Month end reconciliation of main and sub ledger transactions, Liaise with sales team for invoicing queries, Handling customer queries, Inter-company account reconciliations for the holding company and its subsidiaries)
  • Maintenance of master data
  • Month and year end closing experience
  • Good Excel and MS Office knowledge, MS Dynamic AX knowledge advantageous
  • Excellent command of English and German
  • Goal orientation, strong communication skills, independent and structured
