Embedded Hardware Engineer

Your tasks

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer at SKIDATA, you will take responsibility for the development of electronic designs. Your main tasks will include designing microprocessors and conceptualizing digital and analog electronic circuits. In your role, you will be responsible for verifying designs and performing tests that comply with applicable standards. You will also have significant responsibility for the layout of printed circuit boards and the configuration of firmware. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining existing electronics.

It is of utmost importance that your designs comply with current technological standards and are of high quality in terms of durability, handling and test specifications. At the same time, we place great emphasis on sustainability and meeting our cost targets.

Your profile

  • Degree in electronics or mechatronics (FH or university)
  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in the design and development of electronic circuits
  • Knowledge in simulation
  • Knowledge of firmware and FPGA programming
  • Mechanical and electronic know-how
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Openness for new ideas and innovative solutions
  • Self-responsible way of working

Your Place of work

Groedig/Salzburg (HQ)
We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is 2,508.00 euros gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the collective agreement minimum salary.
