Accountant BNLX (fulltime)


In this role you work at SKIDATA Benelux as an Accountant to strengthen the Finance team. Together with your colleague it is your job to take full responsibility within the Benelux organization in the field of Account Payables, General Ledger and Reporting.
You report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the other teams in the Benelux, but also on an international level.


- Handling and final processing of the accounts payable as well as the payments;
- Handling the general ledger part of the accounting (accruals, liabilities, depreciation, etc.);
- Contribute to the monthly closings and the quarterly and annual closings (both internal and external);
- Creating monthly reports to the head office & documentation for audits;
- Developing and streamlining procedures;
- Handling taxes and VAT-related tasks, you are the contact person for our authorities;
- Providing service to our business partners;
- Active participation in local and international projects to ensure efficiency and process optimization.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline required;
  • 3+ years experience in a similar, international environment ;
  • Advanced Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office skills (especially Excel);
  • Good knowledge of/ experience with Belgium and Dutch VAT and Income tax;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Business fluent in (oral and written) Dutch, English and French;
  • Analytical thinking and structured, independent and very precise way of working;
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment;
  • Flexibility and team spirit.
