Supply Chain Specialist - Logistics & Order Management

YOUR TASKS

You are responsible for providing evidence of the origin of goods and obtaining long-term supplier and origin declarations. Maintaining the article master data is one of your daily tasks. You handle the tariff classification of our entire product portfolio and always keep the master data up to date with regard to customs-relevant topics. You are skilled in obtaining freight and transport offers, carrying out cargo space calculations, and you are also familiar with the transport of hazardous goods. You can also establish the connection between customs- and tax-relevant topics. You enjoy sharing your expertise throughout the company. You are also responsible for project-related sales and purchasing of SKIDATA solutions. In the course of your work, you will act as the first point of contact for subsidiaries, partners, customers and internal interfaces, thus ensuring customer satisfaction.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding specialist
  • Several years of professional experience in an international freight forwarding company
  • Professional experience in order processing
  • Sound knowledge of customs including tariff classification and export declaration
  • Very good understanding of business processes and its optimization
  • Structured, independent and reliable way of working
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of MS Dynamics AX would be an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
  • Understanding and love for detail
  • Flexibility & hands-on mentality
  • Openness and high service orientation
