Manager Hardware Engineering
YOUR TASKS
Together with your team you are responsible for hardware device development along the entire product life cycle. The focus is on mechatronic product engineering including mechanical computer-aided design. In doing so, you also contribute yourself operationally and act as a "role model" for your employees. With the help of your methodological expertise and the team, you evaluate the appropriate implementation strategy, select suitable development partners and component suppliers and subsequently manage them. In addition, you support project planning including project controlling and contribute to cost optimization. In this responsible role you also optimize development processes and guidelines.
YOUR PROFIL
Degree in electronics or mechatronics (FH or university)
At least 5 years of professional experience, incl. experience in project management and/or team leadership
Experience in conceptual design and mechatronic development / plant engineering
Mechanical and electronic know-how
Knowledge of firmware and software requirements
Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software, project management software and MS Office
Excellent knowledge of English
