SKIDATA has 28 offices worldwide and Wolfgang makes sure they all stay connected. "My job is to keep the IT up to date and to support the network technicians on site in their work," says the IT professional, who has a lot of experience that he has gained in more than 20 years as an independent IT trainer. At SKIDTA, he can now apply his knowledge and expertise internationally. He particularly enjoys working with young people. He realizes many exciting projects with trainees as well as with pupils. Wolfgang enjoys travelling a lot in his private life.
As a Communication Technician Stefanie leads an eleven-person team in second-level application support. She began her SKIDATA journey with an apprenticeship. She experienced for herself that women are particularly encouraged as technicians at SKIDATA: "After two years at HTL, I simply wanted to work and chose an apprenticeship at SKIDATA. This decision was just right for me. When I had completed my apprenticeship, I was able to take the evening school-leaving examination and then study at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg while working.” Thanks to flexible working hours and financial support, Stefanie has successfully mastered the balance between studies and career.
