Next Saturday (November 8) at sundown (or more precisely at 4.37 pm) the "Long Night of Research" exhibition will open its doors in six of Austria's provincial capitals. Until midnight, numerous representatives from the worlds of business and science will give talks and showcase the latest results of their research and development efforts. Attending as an exhibitor is a must for companies like SKIDATA, which have a lively R&D spirit in their corporate genes.
The national initiative "Long Night of Research" is sponsored by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science and Research together with industry and media enterprises. Its main purpose is to put the limelight on domestic firms and their R&D achievements. "With spectacular world premieres [and] exciting research results the event will demonstrate that Austria's researchers play in the top league. Many innovations from the best universities and research institutions will be presented for the first and only time," says the organisers' official announcement.
SKIDATA will step into the limelight in Klagenfurt in the province of Carinthia. Together with SKIDATA CTO Harald Raetzsch the dynamic SKIDATA software development team headed by Markus Novak will a hands-on demonstration of their latest R&D efforts. Also, Andrea Starzer of Human Resources at SKIDATA's head office will be present to answer any questions of those interested to learn more about career opportunities at SKIDATA.
Anyone interested is welcome to visit Stand L 17 for a close-up experience of SKIDATA research and development.
